This blog is my way to share the creative adventures I undertake. These may be paper related, fabric related, decorating related, recipe related and maybe just a little bit about my family along the way. I hope you enjoy and comment often.
This is so beautiful and charming Leslie. I wish you luck in finding more silver trays/plates. I, too live in the DC area BTW.
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful!! What a great idea!!
ReplyDeleteLeslie, The plates are beautiful and a great way to display memories. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteHello Leslie,
ReplyDeleteI really like how you used the silver plates ! I love that you still see the silver plate and how it is "worn" on the edges.
Your collages really adds something to the silver plate, just like it has always been like this !
Combination of colors suit perfect with the silver.
I can understand why they asked you to sell some !
greetings from belgium

Leslie, that is so beautiful. What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI love how you've given these trays a second life: Beautiful to display special heritage photos. Gorgeous flowers you've made too.

WoW Leslie! These trays look fabulous! I can picture them set amongst Christmas red and greens ... beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely. Are you looking for sterling plates or will silverplate work? I also shop at Savage Mill. Where is the Greenbelt Craft Show and when? I might see if I can attend.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful project! Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you for blog hopping with the Zutter Zisters!
Was replying to your question about my handbag art and decided to check out your blog. I love this idea of using the tray and would gladly allow you to use the idea as I think I may try my hand at using the tray as a basis for a collage.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your wonderful comments and visit again!
