Studio L3 Tim Holtz Challenge

Well - I'm trying something new this summer.  I purchased Tim Holtz book "A Compendium of Curiosities " several months again and I love it. But I am not using it as much as I want to. So when I saw that Linda from Studio L3 was putting up a challenge associated with the book I thought it was a great opportunity to get busy and try more techniques.

Each week Linda is picking a different technique from the book and we are to make a sample or something using the technique. I"m using tags and making notes on the back and will put them all on a ring for an added resource along with the book.

Here is my sample for the first challenge "Waterstamping".
I used the following Tim Holtz distress inks: Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Vintage Photo, Bundled Sage, Forest Moss, Pine Needles and the Ranger Clear Resist Pad along with a Tim Holtz stamp.

  1. I love this, Leslie! The colors are so soft, and the water stamping looks great. The sentiment is lovely, too (one of my very favorites!). I'm so happy you're playing along with the Compendium Challenge, and am looking forward to seeing more of your art!

    Hugs,
    Linda

  3. This is stunning Leslie. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me some love. By all means, case away! You will love the On the Edge dies. Fun to play with. A tip: feed the paper end thru first and the edge with the die last.
